Coach Axelson distinguished himself early on as a formidable player at Woodinville High School, where he was a three-year starter at linebacker and running back. His prowess on the field earned him multiple 4A first-team honors and an All-State Linebacker recognition. Following high school, he advanced to play special teams at Washington State University. Following his passion for football, Coach Axelson now coaches the C-team linebackers and running backs.

Off the field, Coach Axelson leads a digital marketing company based in Kirkland, Washington. When not strategizing for business or coaching, he indulges in his passions for snowboarding, exercising, and playing poker, enjoying the challenges and thrills each hobby offers.
