What Is Your Favorite Falcon Memory?

My favorite Falcon memory would have to be from my junior year when our team was playing Monroe high school. For me at least, I wasn’t getting the playing time I wanted and just got moved to defensive line and was really struggling. This game was truly a dog fight as my brothers and I were going to war. This was an extremely close game where it came down to the wire and Monroe was going for the game winning field goal and we were up by one. I went unblocked through the middle and blocked the field goal to secure the win. This was a huge moment and set our team up for success. I was very happy for the opportunity to have been able to play a lot of defensive end this game and in doing so set me up in the position for the rest of that year and my senior year following. This day the team came together and made the decision to go to war with an opponent that was bigger, stronger, and faster than us. We went out there regardless and dominated and stayed consistent on all fronts. For the team, this win was monumental to the playoff run that we would have that year and set the tone for all of the practices to come. This day and the memory may not have been the happiest, but was definitely the most formative to my life today.

Regarding the program they have at Woodinville, I made some of the best friends I could ever ask for playing football; Lance, Tavish, Jaden, Carson, and Alex. All stand up individuals who I grew up with and could always reach out too. In fact, anyone I played with in high school I feel as if I could reach back out to which truly shows the Falcon family that coach max creates for us growing up. Because every memory strapping up the shoulder pads with my buddies was one of my favorite Falcon memories. I’m very proud to call myself one of the lucky to be named 44.

What Did It Mean To Wear The 44 Jersey?

Wearing 44 meant to me that the coaching staff and the rest of the players respected the hard work that I put in. I was able to exemplify what the seniors on my team wanted and could be a symbol of hard work and dedication to the program for the rest of the team. This recognition meant the world to me because I dedicated a lot to this program and was extremely happy to be able to represent the Falcons as 44. I grew up in the program and had played football in Woodinville since the 3rd grade. The moment I put on the pads, I immediately fell in love with the sport and was always going to be the first one on the field and the last one off of it. This trend continued throughout junior high and high school and was able to grow up a Falcon. By the time I was in high school I had seen great 44s come and go and aspired to have an impact on my team and my community as those guys did. Overall, 44 meant to me the ability to go the extra mile for the family and brothers that you built around yourself in life.

What Are You Doing Today? (written 11-22-22)

Today I am going to college at Cal Poly and no longer pursing any football dreams I once had. During my playing days, I was extremely passionate about football, but looking back at it, I made the right decision to hang up the cleats and focus on academics. I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing management. I plan on graduating in a few years and traveling the world, innovating and marketing new products and services for businesses that are in need of assistance. My end goal is to make my way back to Woodinville, the town that truly took me in and took care of me, and helping the community grow.
