Varsity Offensive Line

Coaching the O-Line for the Falcons. Mike believes that “his guys” are the best group on the team. The offensive line must play with maximum Effort to set the tempo of the game. He wants them to play fast, furious, and physical. They are the heart of the team! This year’s Lineman have done countless hours of weightlifting and are ready to stack up some PANCAKES!

Mike was born in Seattle, Washington. He graduated from Ingraham High School in 1985, where he played football for three years. Mike then went to the University of Washington playing football for the Huskies for four years as an offensive guard.

This is Coach Monan's 38th year of coaching High School football. He has been the Offensive Line Coach at Woodinville since 2010. He won his only State Championship while at Ingraham, in 1988. He then started his coaching tour of the KingCo Conference in 1989, starting at Lake Washington HS, where he coached the O-Line, QBs and RBs during his 5-year stay. He switched to Redmond HS in 1994 and started coaching the defensive line. In 2000, He became the Defensive Coordinator and D-Line coach for Juanita HS. In 2003, he went back to Redmond where he was the D-Line and defensive coordinator for six years.

Mike resides in Brier, WA. with his best friend and hot wife of 23 years, Lana. They are having a lot of fun playing with and training Junior, their 3-year-old labrador retriever.
