Coach Tennis has coached football and baseball at Woodinville since 2003. He graduated from Woodinville High School in 1998 where he played football, baseball and was a varsity wrestler.
After high school, Coach Tennis attended Shoreline Community College and continued to play baseball from 1999-2000. He transferred to Central Washington University where he played two years of baseball while completing his undergraduate degree in Health and Fitness Education. He holds a Masters in Education from Grand Canyon University.
In 2004, Coach Tennis began teaching Health and Fitness at Timbercrest Junior High, and has been teaching the same subject at WHS since 2012.
He currently lives in Duvall with his wife Patience, their 10 year-old twin sons Joseph and Carter and their two dogs Bella and Coal. During his spare time Coach Tennis likes to play golf, pickleball, badminton and run.
